Caleb has another tooth now and we had lots of fun with that one coming through. Teething fever and a heat or viral rash for a week. The nights are not the best. But he seems to be back to normal now. In saying "normal" though, he's at that stage where you can't put him down or leave the room without him crying. It makes it hard to get much done.
His favourite new game is the blinking game. I blink slowly and then he does it back. He thinks it's great. He loves peek-a-boo and standing and biting clothes (often catching your skin too!) and he gets real excited when he sees a bunch of kids playing. He is waving bye-bye and is just like a fish in water - he loves to swim, naturally doing freestyle as soon as he gets in. So fun to watch.
Ammon is now toilet trained (with the odd accident) and has made a new friend at kindy - Rylee. He is going to her birthday on Saturday. He is a whizz on his balance bike and loves playdates with his friends. He says "they want to come for a sleepover Mum" not that he has discussed it with them of course.
Leah had a great birthday and is enjoying her new teacher Mrs Steel. Her job in the class is to feed the tadpoles who are quickly growing into frogs. I think going back to school has been more draining on her than she realizes. She is quick to cry of late and quickly gets frustrated with her siblings.
Emerson's two friends (twins) from church are now at her school. I am happy about that as the friend she most hung out with previously was not always the nicest to her. It's better now that she has good friends who like her, treat her well, and have the same ideas/standards as she does. She is looking forward to her camp week where they will have a day in Raglan and an overnight camp on the school field.
Both girls were super excited that Nanny turned up to watch them do swimming at school yesterday, and even to help instruct them.
Leah had a cry and Emmy didn't like the idea that Ryan and Logan are moving to OZ. :( We will have to have a visit before they go. When is that Yvette?
I have dyed my hair. Not exactly what I wanted but it's bearable. I just won't go back to that hairdresser again as her listening skills are not good enough. Why is it that when we sit in a hairdressers chair we then put an unearned trust in them that they know what they are doing, and just sit there and let it happen when in our head we are saying "what is she doing!!??" Ah, I need to learn to take control of my hair and question them and not just read my book and leave them to it. Next time....!!
Nate is on the lookout for a new business accountant if anyone knows of a good one. It's a whole new world when it's your own business and not someone else's. Way more stress. He is going to Nitro Circus tonight so he is stoked. He loves that stuff.
Ah silence reigns.... the girls are at a friends house a couple doors away, Nate has taken Ammon to the BMX track and Caleb is asleep. Mmmmmm... nice.

I'm sure that art is by a genius! Did you toss it all out after finishing the page?
I enjoyed helping with swimming. I was appalled at the low level Leah was doing - floating practice - and Leah was happy doing that.
Em's was better but she was stopping 2 or 3 times in the length. Needs to have more demanded of her. Trouble is the teacher doesn't work all the kids at once so half the time is wasted for each group.
Wish I lived close enough to go help every day.
