Ammon turns 3

Ammon was so very excited to have his birthday. He woke to balloons everywhere and a pancake breakfast. (I know this is a bit blurry but he's so happy.)
The birthday hats on the table were a big hit and he wore it all morning as he opened his presents. A spiderman t-shirt, lightning mcqueen t-shirt, 2 toy airplanes, soccer/hockey set, bath toy and big-boy bike. He had a quick half-ride of it outside but decided it was too strange with pedals and ran back in to play with the other things.
His let-down of the morning was having to go to kindy, but he did take his dinosaur cake I made him and it was great to have his siblings there too. Yay for school holidays.

Now that he turns 3 he has been transitioning from the toddler area to the kindergarten. He is not keen. I think because it's a change... it's different then he knows... out of the norm. They take 4 weeks to do the full transition but I have asked them to just do it in one day. He is beside himself in the mornings not wanting to go to kindy, the slowness of the move over makes it harder still. He is having today off so will start the battle again next week.
After kindy he got to place at Grace's house before coming home for a fish'n'chip dinner.
Granny brought him a spiderman lunchbox and boxing gloves, Nanny & Papa got him a spiderman outfit and tractor toy, the Bell's gave him a cardboard train to make and paint. It's huge! We haven't opened that one yet. I think that might be something we do when the girls are at school and can't take over the job. ;)
After dinner he packed his lunchbox bag with spare clothes and went to stay at Nanny's for two nights. He did come home yesterday to drop Leah off and Daddy put him on his new bike and away he went! One go and he had it. Of course still to master the brakes but his balance is great and he can pedal.

Caleb is just as keen on bikes. Loves to sit on them and be taken for a ride. We'll see how long Ammon keeps playing on his orange bike before he gives it up completely to Caleb for his white one. He loves the orange one.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes too. He did get them. :)

Love the pics of the boys on the bikes. Ammon was happy as with his presents.
Not sure if he'll ever be really happy going to kindy but here's hoping it doesn't take him too long to make friends and begin to enjoy going.
Looking forward to Lollipops today.

Grace loved the party at lollipops yesterday. Wonderful for her to be close enough to be included in all these things. Hope she hasn t included any of your kids in her tummy bug though xxx
