Camera Cord

Waahoooooo!!! I finally got a cord that goes from my computer to my video camera. I can FINALLY download all my old camera tapes. Today I've watched Ammon's first birthday and Andre's wedding. Boy my girls were cute that day!

We had Emerson's MCU appointment at the hospital yesterday. It went better than it did when she was 4, thank goodness. But still alot of tears (on her part and some on mine). She knew she had an appointment but she didn't know until the nurse told her that it required a catheter. We deliberately didn't tell her as we thought she would worry too much in the days preceding it. It had to happen. Her nurse Danielle was fantastic though. They gave her some "la la" medicine and although she was with it through out it does affect the memory so she doesn't remember much of her visit at all. It was quite funny some of the things she did say though. At one point (the worst point and in tears) she told her Father to go away. Ten seconds later she looks back at him and asked why he was still there? Oh the attitude. It was so funny. She laughs about it now. She had some dye put through her so they could see her kidneys and unofficially all seems ok. She has another check up appointment in about 3 weeks so we should have all the official results and a stronger course of action now to get her all better.
Actually she's been doing fantastic since a week before the holidays, just has an infection this week. But no accidents = happy parents. She was treated to a nacho dinner at The Bank as her treat for how well she has been doing.
Emmy did fantastic singing at the Suzanne Prentice show Kids For Kids, is playing basketball (Daddy is the coach), dancing and cheerleading.
Leah has just had swimsafe and is a great swimmer. I'd like to put her back in swim lessons next year to further her skills. $$!! She is so kind but still doesn't have the best listening skills.
Ammon is in big kindy now and has stopped crying when we drop him off. His best friend Ryley is in there too so he's happy. He plays well with her. He started swim lessons again on Monday and Nan said he did well (we were at the hospital with Em). He rides his big bike and his balance bike and loves Diego (on Disney channel).
Caleb is crawling on his hands and knees now and has taken up to about 8 steps. Tries every day to stand and take a step or two on his own. He's such a boy, makes the sounds of an engine when he's playing with a little car or riding on a bike. I have him down to one feed a day now - the breakfast one. He'll be one on the 10th but we don't plan to do anything more then dinner at home. No pressies.
I'm liking being back at work. I like the break from the house and from the kids. It's nice.

Oops Caleb is awake, must go.

I'm glad the hospital experience was better this time. It's horrible seeing our kids hurting. I was supposed to book my girls in for swimming this term, and totally forgot, so they have no activities after school at the moment. They're enjoying it actually. We'll start again next term. My girls have just done some art for your kids, so look out for that in the mail at the end of the week.

It's so nice to read an update on the kids. I really should get a blog going, especially now we'll be in Oz. Ryan has restarted swim class again and seems to have retained all his skills from last December. He lost another tooth last night - he's running out of teeth to eat with! I'm slowly filling your playhouse with toys and items we've decided not to take with us. Feel free to pass them on to others if you don't want them.
