The girls got to spend a night each with Brooke/Elisa and Ryan/Logan and they had a fab time. I asked them what their favourite part of the holiday was and their response:
Leah - the beach and Lollipops Playland
Emerson - the spa, mini putt and McDonalds (with Papa on the way home)

It was a good way to do it not sending them to the same house at the same time, then they didn't fight over who got to play with that cousin or get left out from the play altogether.
Ammon even got to have a holiday with a night at Nanny's. He is teething again, his third tooth finally arrived during the week and number four is on it's way too.
Nate took the girls to the ANZAC dawn service this morning followed by a pancake breakfast with the youth at the chapel. Now they are settling down to play with Ryan's train set we have borrowed. Leah is very keen on trains. Must get that from her Papa.

My boys loved having the girls to stay, and it's great to hear they had a fab time. Both boys fell fast asleep on the 30 minute trip from Jacinda's to Cade's. The busy week has tuckered them out. Hope the kids enjoy the train set -just watch that Ammon doesn't swallow the little brown balls from the mining loader.
Yes noticed those. He did put one in his mouth today but screwed his face up and spat it out. The girls are learning to be more careful. He's so funny, just chases the trains around or sits on the track - VERY frustrating for Leah.
Brooke is going to sleepover at Ryan's next weekend, and Logan will come here for the night. Should be interesting ;) While I remember, can you send my medals back with whoever is coming up for Ryan's birthay? Thanks.
Hey Emerson - which was best? The dawn service or the pancake breakfast? I bet it was dark and cold at the park.
